TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 1d His, Hers & Ours is an interesting film with a creative premise. I liked the idea of the kids finding each other, falling in love, and then creating an awkward situation when their parents also develop feelings for each other. There is definitely potential in that setup, but I don’t think the screenplay always knew how to balance all of those stories. My biggest issue is how dialogue-heavy the movie becomes. There are so many conversations and shifts between storylines that it sometimes feels confusing and overly drawn out. Just when you become invested in one part of the story, it jumps somewhere else, creating a constant back-and-forth that occasionally made me lose track of what the movie was trying to accomplish. That said, I don’t think it’s a bad movie. It’s perfectly okay for what it is, and there are enough interesting moments to keep you watching.
