The best feature of this film is the concept and the brilliant underwater cinematography by Jacques Ballard. Otherwise it's a fairly standard haunted house tale. It's interesting to observe the actors, limited by their scuba gear for most of the film, be able to convey fear in their performances. Humans are not at home in the water, which increases the anxiety. A very unique horror film bogged down by conventional storytelling. And, seriously, I've never seen anyone so well equipped! Why's this guy need money if he can afford elite equipment! We were intrigued by the unique setting of the film but were left lacking in the thrill and scare department. In fact it was so boring that we asked each other multiple times if we wanted to watch something else instead but despite that we pushed on. Safe to say that this movie is utterly disappointing, the movie lacked everything it advertised and not once did i feel scared or thrilled. The acting was abysmal and the movie ended up being mostly bad shots of an underwater house. This movie did not in fact have the moves like Jagger like they'd have you believe. If you like watching Youtubers make terrible decisions in order to get content for their channel, especially of the abandoned places or ghost-hunter-type variety, then you will likely enjoy this film.
