In short: -completely incoherent plot -WAY too amped-up Andy (she's supposed to be a serious reporter?)with childish physical histrionics and super-fast, weird dialogue -Streep is okay--but lacking the force of the original, her character seemed bored or adrift, Tucci's was a one-note guy, not the engaged character I remember; he seemed to have so much botox going on that his upper lip barely moved and he seemed to be have trouble getting the words out without garbling--I also blame the script. -Andy's so-called random bf guy-had 3? scenes- and the point was.. there was none, added nothing whatsoever except to highlight that the plot was all over the place. Oh yeah, and Gaga--why? -the tech-bro takeover was so predictable &resolution was to just sub one for another so no resolution to the issue -I enjoyed Emily Blunt Dreadful, meandering, long.
