Five friends set out on one last adventure along Thailand's stunning coast, eager for a final thrill before life in the real world begins. They sign up for a guided swim through a remote cave system known as The Devil's Mouth, a natural wonder that's as breathtaking as it is unforgiving. Deep inside the labyrinth of narrow waterways, their journey takes a terrifying turn when they discover that a freak storm the week before flooded the caves with sea life. The creatures died in the fresh water, but something survived... and it's hunting them now--fast, silent, and deadly. Every corridor they round is overflowing with anxiety, and every wrong turn becomes a deadly encounter. As panic spreads and their sense of direction slips away, the group begins to fracture. Trust erodes, fear takes over, and survival becomes a savage game. In the suffocating darkness, every choice could be their last as they learn that to make it out alive, sacrifices must be made.

It’s the shark’s appearances, surprisingly, that lack bite. Denied a point of view or much in the way of a closeup, the CG killer never feels a particularly distinctive or palpable presence, while its lunges take on a fairly predictable pattern.

"Mouth" is that odd sort of movie that’s not bad enough for it to be fun, ridiculous but not enough to inspire a drinking game. No, it commits the cardinal sin of being lazy and boring. With an acrobatic shark at your disposal, that’s quite a feat.

I just watched The Devil's Mouth, and if you love shark thrillers, this is an absolute blast. It delivers exactly what it promises: pure, fast-paced popcorn entertainment.The best part is the gorgeous backdrop. The cave explorations and stunning Thai excursions are beautifully shot, making you feel like you are on an exotic vacation right before the chaos hits. Once they enter the cave system, the atmosphere shifts into a claustrophobic nightmare.The movie is on the shorter side with a very simple plot. I was hoping for more backstory on how a massive bull shark got trapped inside that specific freshwater pool. The lack of explanation feels like a missed opportunity.However, what it lacks in story, it makes up for in suspense. Focusing on one shark in a tight space maximizes the dread and underwater tension. It skips the filler and gets straight to the action. If you want a fun, exciting creature feature, I highly recommend it! 🦈🍿

The first fully terrible 2026 release I’ve seen thus far. Man, this one was bad. It’s movies like this that make my question my desire to watch as many movies as I (reasonably) can, because they make me feel like I’ve wasted a little bit of time in my life. The characters sucked (expect that one guy who sacrificed himself), the acting even worse, the cgi sharks and blood look awful, and the amount of contrivances and conveniences there are in the script is sinful. It’s just a poorly plotted movie. Also, I really hated Max. She was genuinely insufferable. Nothing memorable, nothing that leaves a lasting impact, and beyond maybe a moment or two, nothing executed particularly competently. This one stunk.
