Jerry G @JSGNIK Sep 25, 2026 A memorable glimpse of high school angst in the ‘80’s. It is fun and touching and wonderfully cast. Fun to watch with your teens or to hold hands with your partner. Highly recommended! See more film L @jwbdevil86 Aug 20, 2026 If, like me, you grew up in the 80s or you like 80s movies and music, you will love The Legend of Juan Jose Mundo. It’s so funny, charming and relatable. Written by veteran filmmakers Michael Walker and Susan Gomes. The cast features a cadre of young, mostly unknown actors and actresses giving great performances with a compelling and interesting story. The 2 leads (Alexandro Byrd and Anna Mirodin) are particularly exceptional as they navigate the complexities of typical high school drama exacerbated by the infusion of exchange students from Spain. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission! So many 80s hits. Everything from “Goody Two Shoes” to “Too Turned On” and many others. I was particularly impressed by the level of detail that went into presenting an authentic 1980s experience in all of the sets. I’ve heard this referred to as a “love letter to the 80s” and that is certainly true. I highly recommend this film. Check it out and you won’t be disappointed See more Suet L @suetlove Aug 20, 2026 This 80s high school movie was EVERYTHING! Funny, charming, nostalgic, brilliantly acted, written and shot!
