Peter W @RT12077588 4 days ago Overall, if you are seeking a crime thriller in a similar vein to Scarface, The Resurrection of the Golden Wolf deserves your attention. It’s a stunning piece of Japanese cinema, telling the story of a skilled killer and thief who will do anything to achieve his long-term goal: wealth. I found myself genuinely invested in the film’s journey, and the finale lands hard and effectively, making it an unforgettable experience. Visually, this is a must-see, with everything still holding up wonderfully, and the film’s funky and appealing score enhances the experience. While enjoyable, the film is slightly long, particularly the second act, before ramping up to the conclusion and final outcome. The film delivers a powerful impact and stands on its own within the crime genre. See more Read all reviews
