When he was a youth in the Queensborough projects, Jonathan White (Channing Tatum) -- then known as Milk -- killed a couple of junkies. His dead father's former partner, Detective Stanford (Al Pacino), got him off the hook for the crime. Now a rookie police officer himself, Jonathan remains haunted by the incident. When a Queens reporter (Juliette Binoche) receives anonymous tips regarding the long-ago crime, the implications for both White and Stanford are clear.

Life is a struggle, the new film "The Son of No One" makes that explicitly clear. But so is moviemaking, and unfortunately the toil is all too evident in writer-director Dito Montiel's messy, logic-strained third feature. Go to Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Sep 24, 2020

With this cast this should've been a great movie. Tim Treakle See more Jo G @RT16883157 Aug 12, 2024 Great concept for a movie, but the person who was 'supposedly' threatening to expose the police for a cover up Did Not fit the profile of the person pulling the punches. Women: man's voice in all interactions. Driving a car into the back of 'accused' car. Murdering the journalist / taking pictures of accused & journalist before murder. Also " having knowledge " of an original cover up. Too many loose ends and improbibilities. See more Read all reviews
