After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious, curmudgeonly Branch (Justin Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Their mission is full of adventure and mishaps, as this mismatched duo try to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.

Critics Consensus

Trolls brings its instantly recognizable characters to the big screen in a colorful adventure that, while geared toward the younger set, isn't without rewards for parents.

Kendrick and Timberlake bring snappy comic timing, even when the dialogue could be wittier. Co-director Walt Dohrn steals the picture as a high-fiving cloud-bro.

I was confident Nicholas Stoller's Storks would take the prize for most obnoxious family entertainment of the year, but Trolls -- another garish, computer-animated comedy -- instantly lowers the bar.

I didn't like it, not at all, and while I'm certain there are kids out there who will undoubtedly feel differently don't expect me to sing a different tune on the matter anytime soon.

I’m hardly the target demographic here, but Trolls is served with enough knowing self-awareness that it has the sense to frequently mock its own glittery good cheer. Parents will like that. And kids will adore everything else.

Trolls may be one of the more forgettable (brand tie-in movies), but while its here everyone will be entertained.

There's nothing to really dislike here; it's too chirpy and enthusiastic for that. There's just a disappointing lack of effort to do more than is expected of it.

Very well done! Clever writing and beautifully brought to screen. Easy to see why kids go crazy for this. Familiar but with fresh ideas and incredible graphics. Whole cast excels in voicing their respective characters.

Uma explosão de cores, brilhantes e música pop contagiante ideal para as crianças. O enredo é muito simples e previsível, mas diverte se não tiveres grandes expectativas.

As everyone is caught up in the catchy and popular music, the truth is the Bergens just want to be happy and that's why they eat trolls. Love the deeper meaning sewn into the fabric of a fun family flick!
