The first 40 minutes are especially striking visually, with remarkably little dialogue needed to tell the story. I am now an environmentalist. I'm vegan, I strive to pollute as less as possible, and I promised myself to avoid using any flight until 2086. I have taken about 20k km of flights in 2025, which make me pollute about 10 tons of co2. I know travel by bus and hitchhiking through the continent. I watched Wall-E at the cinema in 2008, I was 8, it had been an event for our school, we went to the cinema instead of staying in class. I much felt the solitude of the little robot that was uselessly working for saving the Earth, while everyone was in the outer space. The magic of this movie is that made me aware of what pollution is, and why we have to work all together to keep our environment safe. It managed, and I believe that if I'm so aware now, it's mostly thanks to this movie that gave the first sparkle. Also, the scene where the boss of humans manages to stand still to click the button is super funny but also scary. We are going to that direction. All world must rewatch. However, there are a few convenient moments just to keep the story going, which I have to admit kind of dulled the experience for me even though it’s a kid movie.
