While the film's success has shone an important light on disability, the casting controversies, inability to let Auggie be a real person and inspiration porn messaging verge on insufferable. Wonder desperately wants you to cry. I did not.

A touching family drama that avoids cheap melodrama thanks to a clever script and a talented cast. The structure, which explores the different perspectives surrounding the protagonist, adds depth to the central message of empathy. Only marred by minor emotional clichés, it delivers a very solid, warm, and heartfelt experience.

This is a stunning movie about a kid having a facial deformity. It follows him in his first year of real school. This movie shows you different perspectives of elementary schoolers, high schoolers, and adults. It all comes together so nicely and it is nearly a perfect representation of the novel.

What a brilliant movie. No matter how many times I watch it , it brings me to tears. Would have to be one of favourite movies ever. Julia Robert’s was amazing I think it’s her best role yet. I felt her every word. Truly a movie everyone should watch to give you some perspective on not to judge a book by its cover. If I could give this movie 100 stars I would.
