The directors go for an experiential, if more narratively ambiguous artistic ethos that results in an excitingly cinematic trip alongside unlikable people. Go to Full Review

It’s a strong addition to a recent wave of independent Australian horror-thrillers, following the critical and commercial success of Talk to Me, written and directed by Adelaide-based twins Danny and Michael Philippou. Go to Full Review

This production pushed me away much more than it pulled me in, ultimately leaving me aggrieved, withered and wondering what the point was. Go to Full Review

On paper, this film reads more like a psychodrama, but Clark and Weir instead reveal the plot through the lens and visual language of a psychological horror film, ramping up the tension to a nearly unbearable level at points. Go to Full Review

The protracted feel to the film, in terms of how long we hang around at the shoulders of these people as they do precisely nothing, provides a sense that we may never get anywhere, and honestly, that is exactly what comes to pass. Go to Full Review

Aaron L @Aaron007 1d I wanted this to be good I really did the acting was on point from start to finish, but something was off about the whole thing. It just seemed very detached from the story line. Maybe a bit of back story would have been nice. But everything just seemed so random. It wasn’t a bad watch, just irritating in a way. Other than shock factor, I didn’t really get the point of the plot. Could have been put in a smoother way less brash for the watcher. I fully understand how the vibe was it just didn’t land how I thought. See more Ashley O. @ashelina86 Feb 22 Great soundtrack, dark and moody vibes that definitely scratch the itch. See more Stephen Z @Poggi Feb 17 the story doesn't match the mood. the characters are weak and undeveloped. It drags on too long and has no point. maybe if you watch it on K like the characters, it is amazing. Without mind altering substances, it is flaccid. See more Elaine L @MsReviewer Feb 17 I didn't like this movie. I thought it was boring. I couldn't relate to any of the characters. They were a bunch of weird annoying kids. You couldn't tell what was real and what was a hallucination. I barely made it through half of it. I finally just stopped watching. See more Chase C. @chase.n.cinema Feb 9 Hidden Gem of the Century! Incredible acting, cinematography and dialogue. See more Eddy P @Eesunsunsun Dec 13 Disappointing. It dragged on way too long. I turned it off and didn’t finish, and I still feel confident in saying that whatever point it was trying to make was not worth the wait. See more Read all reviews
