I approached Season 4 with trepidation, given Season 3 was one of the most effective series wrap ups in years. I’m sad to say, my fears were well founded and the Season 4 opener featured poor writing, a silly plot, endless virtual signaling, and none of the spark that made the series work for three seasons. Still not checked out but one more episode like this and it’s over.

Everybody labelling this season woke and different after one episode are really missing the point. As Rebecca said to Ted " let it steep", this episode is beautiful. I cannot wait for more

Episode 1 of season 4 seems more like a tourism commercial for Kansas City. On top of that, there was a cornucopia of virtual signaling. 2020 called and they want their damn programming back. When it comes down to it, you could have gotten the same experience reading the right grouping of bumper stickers.

Sadly the firwt episode feels like it was done by different people. A lot feels forced and unnatural and in generall it feels more like a skit with thrown in jokes and advertisements. If it gets not better I realy can not recommend the new season and have to say that it should have ended with the third one. Its sad because Ted Lasso is one of my all time favorite Shows which seams like it will throw away his legacy with bad quality.
