The series emanates a sense of urgency without cooking up abnormally dramatic situations. Go to Full Review

Sterling Point is an easy recommendation. It’s funny, charming and knows when to go for the jugular on existential coming-of-age musings. Go to Full Review

Ms. Rubin is terrific and there’s some very clever writing in “Sterling Point,” but a viewer will check out mentally, and early, because the entire mystery would be resolved if one character would simply ask another a very obvious question. Go to Full Review

Sidestepping the tired tropes that often plague the modern teen genre, it anchors itself in a beautifully grounded, emotionally intelligent narrative about kinship and the search for belonging. Go to Full Review

Every heartfelt moment between Annie and Ramona is a reminder of what Park does best, and Sterling Point gives her an expansive platform for that rich emotional storytelling. Go to Full Review

Areela S @RT46715942 1h Perfect summer series! See more C V @HollywoodBigShot 4h ***Spoiler alert*** There's some interesting premises to this story but that's where it ends. This is just my opinion, but I feel like the writing was lazy. Or maybe just inexperienced or poor writers. I don't know. We've all seen TV shows or movies where somebody's laying out an argument and they're really angry and you get that, and you waiting for their argument to make sense and it never does. When that happens, the character you've been rooting for immediately becomes unreasonable and more difficult to root for. I don't think they meant for her to take that shape but when she's yelling at her dad because he wasn't OK with her mother having an affair and getting pregnant, I was left wondering if the writers ever say these lines out loud. See more James L @RT678900321 5h This is legit good. I would say it does for YA drama what Heated Rivalry did for steamy romance - it elevates its genre. It's got that sharp wit but it is also really moving. The lead Ella Rubin is a stone cold fox who is both funny and brings emotional depth. See more Bret K @RT75490055 9h Despite the only major con was the 8- episode season. I have to give this five stars, the story was fresh and the acting exceptional. The cast was well relatable, being fairly unknown. Their chemistry came off very well on screen. The storyline needed more than 8 episodes to fully get everything going on. The editing felt clunky and rushed to squeeze what the crater wanted to tell and it showed throughout the season, limited to 8 episodes. It was very well done but felt like it needed more traditional 12 to 22 episodes to fully explore. See more Gailee W @RT61882637 12h Cast with 20 somethings who look and speak like 30 somethings, Sterling Point is the perfect summer escape needed. Nice acting. Well written. I will watch a season ll See more Keely M @RT24467265 21h Refreshing young adult watch. Fantastic queer representation. Complicated and intelligent dialogue and female leads. Love!
