There are a few amusing bits, but one’s overall enjoyment of the film will depend on how much one appreciates such gags as a fat cook placing French toast between his butt cheeks and then serving it to a customer, or Tom Green tonguing a live mouse.

Beyond zeitgeist-seizing turns from Tom Green and Seann William Scott and the breakout of DJ Qualls, it's a stump-dumb but solidly funny comedy that, like the Farrelly Brothers, stays generally sweet while tiptoeing to the edge of R-rated offensiveness.

Road Trip is a fun early-2000s comedy built around a simple premise that keeps the story moving. A mistakenly mailed videotape sends four college friends on a frantic cross-country journey, and the screenplay finds plenty of laughs along the way. Todd Phillips keeps the pacing brisk, making the episodic road-trip structure consistently entertaining. Breckin Meyer is a likable lead, but Seann William Scott nearly steals the movie with his carefree, unpredictable performance as E.L. Paulo Costanzo and DJ Qualls round out a cast whose chemistry makes the friendships feel genuine. The fraternity visit, the snake sequence, and Barry's outrageous stories remain the film's biggest highlights. The biggest drawback is that the characters rarely grow beyond their comedic roles, and some of the humor feels dated today. Even so, it's an entertaining road-trip comedy with enough memorable moments to make it an enjoyable watch.

i think its a great comedy movie for young teens adults might not like it though , maybe a little outdated but if want to know about real fun pre mobile age fun , i would definitely recommend you to watch it.
