Mari and her friend look forward to a holiday at the remote Collingwood lake house, but instead an escaped convict (Garret Dillahunt) and his crew kidnap them and later leave them for dead. Mari makes her way back home, where her parents, John (Tony Goldwyn) and Emma (Monica Potter), have unwittingly offered shelter to the thugs. When John and Emma find out what happened to their daughter, they decide to make the strangers rue the day they harmed Mari.

The Last House on the Left is a brutal, unsettling film that refuses to make its characters or its audience feel comfortable. Beneath the violence is a bleak examination of grief, rage, and how quickly ordinary people can be pushed toward something darker. It’s disturbing by design, but what lingers most is the emotional ugliness and the sense that revenge may offer justice, but it can never undo what was lost. A harsh, haunting piece of horror that stays with you long after the final scene.

i dont like movies that any form of assaulting women, rape is a total no no in any type of form, its a crime, people can go to jail for such a thing, so why have such a terrible act in a movie, and the guy who came up with this garbage should be in jail, sexual assault is a crime and should be allowed in movies, men who love this movie much really hate women and love to sexually assault woman, didnt like the original trash and dont like this trash. 0/10

For the most part it was a good movie. It became predictable and It started to lose my attention towards the end. Some scenes were very hard to watch especially since these types of graphic scenes are not commonly made in movies. For the most part the acting was good accept there were unnecessary and cheesey lines.

Synopsis
