The Hills Run Red is an example of the kind of horror movie that gets a pass from forgiving genre fans, but its clumsy, obvious execution will otherwise not likely entertain (much less scare) anyone else.

NEGATIVE POINTS: Full of plot holes; it's kinda sexist and too exploitative; it isn't very creative and reuses many other movies' ideas and scenes. POSITIVE POINTS: It's super gory; its last third is really exciting and cool

Muy ingeniosa, juega bien con una historia bastante meta que atraviesa la cuarta pared. Mas allá de los giros en la trama esta llena de gore, lo cual los fans del genero van a agradecer. Raro que no sea mas conocida, tiene material para serlo.

The Hills Run Red is a down and dirty tribute to the 80's slasher boom that works as a love letter to the Era and doubles down on the gore that the genre's famous for. I loved it. 10/10

Horror splatter che propone un discreto mescolamento di trama tra la "realtà" e il "film" di cui si va alla ricerca. Sicuramente la trama offre degli spunti interessanti e riesce a distinguersi dai tanti horror simili per intenzioni. I personaggi invece mancano totalmente di profondità; ognuno ha un paio di caratteristiche da cui non si scosta, non emozionano e non danno nessun tipo di empatia.
