Teenage playboy Sebastian Valmont (Robin Dunne) moves to New York City to live with his socialite stepmother, Tiffany Merteuil (Mimi Rogers), and his conniving stepsister, Kathryn (Amy Adams). At their exclusive prep school, Sebastian falls for the headmaster's beautiful daughter, Danielle Sherman (Sarah Thompson), while Kathryn vows to ruin another wealthy classmate (Keri Lynn Pratt). Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Severely inconsistent storyline. Originally intended to be a series called "Manchester Prep" on Fox Broadcasting Company. Yet, it was cancelled due to its sexually explicit content. So Sony Pictures decided to release it as a prequel to the original movie by adding in some more sexuality and dubbing over some names. In short this origin story about Kathryn and Sebastian's devious behaviors falls flat on its face.
