In April 1945, the Allies are making their final push in the European theater. A battle-hardened Army sergeant named Don "Wardaddy" Collier, leading a Sherman tank and a five-man crew, undertakes a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Hopelessly outnumbered, outgunned and saddled with an inexperienced soldier in their midst, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds as they move to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

The scenes that attempt to humanize the protagonists, while also portraying the darker side of war, are too contrived. But the raw battle scenes are riveting...but you cannot ignore the script's moral high ground.

A brutal depiction of the realities of war, this movie doesn't romanticize the plot, nor does it humanize the characters, it portrays war as it is, a losing battle that no one ever really wins. The acting from every single actor was impeccable, they all brought such emotion to their characters, I couldn't help but feel sorry for them, even if some of them are horrible. The action in this movie is good, but the cinematography, in my opinion, was some of the best I've seen in recent years. The ending of the movie did leave something to be desired, but overall it was a gruesome movie that highlights the reality of war in ways few other movies manage to do.

Good movie with good acting sometimes, amazing job with the camera work- all with some of my favorite actors. But it all comes crashing down with the ending. Although it includes a great but chilling scene with Shia LaBeouf quoting one of the best and most appropriate Bible verses, the ending is just embarrassing; making me yell in frustration and complaining about the way it could have turned out. If anything, that ending was just a reminder that this is a Hollywood film and nothing really matters. You watched it, some of you even paid to see it.

Most likely my favorite movie of all time, I really loved this movie more than any other tank movie out there, it was very realistic, and there was an actual Tiger tank in the movie! Very great movie.
