Logan D @Greynomad38 Jun 6 In a dystopian 1982, top CIA asset Gagano (Daniel Tadesse), a hunchbacked, vertically challenged secret agent, dreams of opening a pizza food truck on the beach with his wife. His dream is delayed when a virus named Stalin infects the agency's low budget computer system. A multi-national co-production spanning Spain, Estonia, Ethiopia, Latvia, the UK, and Romania, this cyberpunk spy spoof eschews traditional film structure for a dream logic that constantly breaks it's own rules. A very bizarre film that features stop-motion photo animation once the characters enter the network using VR. Cheap cardboard masks of persons such as Robert Redford and Joseph Stalin are worn by inhabitants of this virtual world and a kung fu Jesus also makes an appearance. It's bizarre and unhinged. I enjoyed it immensely. Tadesse delivers a wonderful monologued narration midway thru.
