This movie is so wholesome, so touching and comments on what makes life magical. The movie is shot beautifully and the acting is delightful. Critiques did not understand this movie because it doesn't bombard you with whimsy and instead gives a meaningful message with a touching and fun story that paces itself in its own way. As an adult I still love the underlying message that 'the magic is within.' Mr. Magorium's character is a wonderful, electric and eccentric character, he embodies the powerful creator that we all have inside us. Mahony's dance at the end is a bit cringe haha, but the message is wholesome, in that we all have a sparkle and inner child that we must nurture.
