It’s not nearly as horrible as The Nun, and honestly, that’s a good compliment for such a typical, cliche horror flick. Michael Chaves truly saves what could have been a disaster with another director.

Thoroughly unoriginal plot points and scares with half-baked conclusions. However, if you're just looking for a James Wan typical jump-scare factory, this is the movie for you - just don't expect too much in the way of quality film making.

This movie was absolutely horrible, the acting is horrible the only good actors are Danny Trejo and the lady that the gringo family stayed at the rest did a horrible acting job and the camera view was terrible. I do not recommend this movie and they honestly disrespected the mexican story like I am pretty sure if la llorona saw this movie she would even be disappointed.
