There are many issues with the film as the work that went into "The Last Exorcism" is missing. This time Ashley Bell has nobody to play off with, as the supporting cast is treated as minor roles. The horror is lazily built on cheap jump scares avoiding every aspect to build tension & cuts away from nearly every kill, so we're pitifully left with hearing a scream. This sequel is an attempt to make money fast, a low quality product that needed to be refunded. See more Paul B @RT35447917 Sep 30 So many loose ends that were not answered. A lot more loose ends that need to be now answered. The first one was good, but this one fell short really far. It's like they knew the first one was good, and then tried to squeeze as much out of this one as possible with cliche horror tropes thrown in to fill gaps. Huge let down. This is a “normal” film that is completely unnecessary as a sequel. Not scary enough and forgettable. The film gets worse and worse towards the end and is so cheap and stupidly staged.
