Jozz G @RT97847993 Jun 23 I feel that the film, The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones really brings the book to like. The fight scenes were nice and not rushed as much as other films and the love triangle that is shown between Clary, Jace, and Simon is an enjoyable kind of frustrating to go through and witness. I honestly don't understand why people don't think the movies good; they definitely should have made a sequel to it. It's not too late, they still can. I understand that some critics might find this movie "Poorly made" but I feel like it should also be up to the fans on whether there should have been a sequel or not. See more Anja T @armadillo114 Jan 5 this is the review i wrote after i watched it: the mortal instruments: city of bones 5.5/10 extra half a point because jamie campbell, otherwise the movie was so fucking stupid it made it funny, i kinda dont remember any of the plot besides Jace + Clary so effing hot btw. i was geeked when i watched it and wrote that, which is why i dont remember like anything butttt made it ten times better. i overall wasnt very interest in the plot it is very cliche and overdone i also didnt have a fucking clue what was happening but i loved the chemistry between jamie and lily and the love story. the only reason i watched it was from edits from tiktok and yea, its one of those movies i’ll obsess over for months because i want to be physically in it and experience what the characters did and yearn to be clary. so my personality will is changed from this movie, but would i recommend it, probably not, its mine.
