Newlyweds Carl (Matt Dillon) and Molly (Kate Hudson) are anxious to start their lives together, but the pair soon become a trio when Carl invites his jobless buddy Randy (Owen Wilson) to crash at their place until he gets back on his feet. At first, Carl is happy to have him around, but that soon turns to annoyance when Randy threatens to become a permanent fixture in their home.

I don’t know why this movie gets so much hate. My husband and watch it every couple of years and quote it all the time. It’s the stupid funny that you need after a long week. Owen Wilson plays the chaotic friend from single days who comes to stay with the newlyweds for a day or two that turns into weeks. Michael Douglas is the real estate developer/father in-law from hell. Seth Rogan has a bit-part as another weird friend reminding you why you decided to grow up in the first place.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, o elenco é mais ou menos, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é fraca, os personagens sao fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.

You, Me and Dupree is a hilarious film featuring Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson, blending various comedic elements. The story revolves around a father and daughter who are welcoming the new son-in-law into their home, only to find that the quirky best friend Dupree, played by Wilson, has also decided to join the fun. While the movie does have its flaws, particularly with some unresolved plot points, it still delivers plenty of laughs. The antics of Dupree are especially memorable, especially his amusing obsession with Mandy. In the end, the film is packed with amusing moments and entertaining scenarios that keep you engaged. With a touch of humorous nudity and a strong cast, it’s a delightful watch that’s definitely worth your time. If you're in the mood for a good laugh, this film is a must-see!
