A well-filmed, in-depth, and heartbreaking look at the Moriah "Mo" Wilson case out of Austin, TX. While the trajectory of the investigation feels somewhat predictable, rooted in jealousy and quickly narrowing in on the primary suspect, the documentary still builds tension. The filmmakers did a great job focusing on Mo herself, offering an intimate portrait of a 25-year-old rising star in the cycling world, a Dartmouth graduate, and by all accounts a kind, driven person whose life was cut tragically short. The doc avoids sensationalism and highlights the devastating impact on her family and the effort to honor her legacy.

An engaging and devastating documentary about the loss of a clearly very well-loved person and highly accomplished cyclist. I was especially moved by the words of her mother in the documentary. I wish guns were more tightly controlled and much less available in the United States because the deaths of innocent people are not worth anyone’s right to bear arms.

It’s devastating to hear the details of this senseless tragedy, but throughout the documentary, the prevailing theme that emerges is a poignant story about a beautiful, joyful, driven woman, told by the people who love her and want to let the world know about their beloved daughter, sister, and friend. This documentary was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. So much so that I felt compelled to write a review, which I rarely do.

Such a well done documentary that manages to highlight both the senseless tragedy of Mo's story as well what an absolutely incredible young woman she was. I just fell in love with her family, her inspiring and driven journal entries, her lovely tribe of authentic friends- such a maddening tragedy. The world lost a truly beautiful soul.
