Fanning, one of the best in the business, gives a performance of uncommon richness and grace. She understands this person in a visceral way. There's strength and wisdom in the character, but also the sort of innocence that comes with being a young adult. Go to Full Review

You might think that a series with Elle Fanning as an unwed mother who turns to OnlyFans to work her way through college would not be a mile of smiles, but it most definitely is. Go to Full Review

Its candor about finances is not only refreshing but serves as a basis for some of its most poignant, and triumphant, moments. Go to Full Review

It’s refreshing to see a show that works to reverse the narrative on what a woman can or should be, illustrating that no one is less of a parent simply because of the work they do. Go to Full Review

Margo’s Got Money Troubles has serious moments, but it’s a show that doesn’t try to take itself too seriously, and that sense of fun is going to make Margo’s journey to provide for her son very watchable. Go to Full Review

Spectacular in the central role ... it's fantastic to see Fanning and co deliver a nuanced look at a deliberately misunderstood industry. Go to Full Review

efren D @Efren211 6h Everything about this show is perfection. See more Melanie A. @MelSrah 1d Only 3 episodes in and it’s an acting masterclass. Absolutely one of the best performances I’ve seen by Fanning. Completely charming, honest, and full of hope. I hope this show gets the recognition it deserves. See more R R @rayning 1d You must watch this brilliantly funny, heartwarming, charming, delightful, bittersweet, refreshingly original show! My wife + I just devoured the first 3 episodes + absolutely LOVED, laughed, and emotionally connected with Margo + her parents! Elle Fanning is hilarious, since she's so intelligent, idealistic, innocent, + naive in everything we've seen her in, whether in "The Great", "Predator: Badlands," + now this! Michelle Pfeiffer was outstanding as her still-beautiful but now desperate mom. Nick Offerman was endearing as her ex-bad boy, deadbeat dad who's now sorry + remorseful. "Margo" is our favorite new TV show of 2026! So much fun + so insightful! Never dull. I just added its novel to my reading list. See more Janaki M. @7thLotus 1d This series surprised me. I binged 3 episodes last night. The cast and acting is excellent and the writing is balanced. Character development was quick and very well done. Since I grew in in Orange County like Michelle Pfieffer, it was interesting to see locations i recognized from the italian restaurant in Fullerton to the car wash from Huntington Beach. See more mukarouvsky M @mukarouvsky 1d I didn't expect much from this series—I mainly came for Elle Fanning. At the time of writing this review, there are three episodes out: The Hungry Ghost, Homecoming, and Jinxed. The debut doesn't waste any time; everything unfolds as expected, but not in a cliché way. Margo, a university student, is infatuated with her literature professor, and they end up in bed together. She gets pregnant and is determined to keep the baby. The dynamic between Margo and her mother is intriguing. The series captures a common mother-daughter relationship, especially when the father figure is mostly absent. It shows that these relationships shouldn't always be judged by how affectionate they are. Instead, it encourages us to realize that a mother-daughter bond can be filled with arguments and dysfunction, yet somehow remain functional.
