This docuseries may make you angry and nauseous, but it’s masterfully presented to deliver a compelling look at what happens when religious beliefs are exploited and perverted, controlling the most zealous for evil ends. Go to Full Review

Jess H @MyPlantsLoveAudiobooks 7h This documentary is fine as long as you enjoy a white saviour narrative where the ENTIRE focus is Christine Marie whose ethics are beyond shady. See more James R. @Jimmyjohnstory 14h Very eye opening documentary. This thing was edited to perfection and many people put a lot on the line to make this. It was a very dark world that this kids were living in See more W.L. C @WayneCampbell 1d I managed to binge the miniseries on a slow work day, and I struggled with the intentions of the filmmakers throughout the full runtime. Having Christine's backstory revealed assisted in throwing off some of my doubts, but her insistence on being in front of the camera lens watered down the very real trauma she was trying to expose (and in some instances causing). Regardless, the courage of one of her subjects helped take down a next-gen child abuser, and that in itself is praiseworthy. Had Christine and Tolga not shown up, it's difficult to predict how long the abuse would have gone on and through how many generations. Well worth sticking out the 3 hour and 45 minute runtime. See more Walt S @RT36330541 3d A suberb documentary with all the drama of an emotional and tense movie. But it is real. Wonderfully put together and presented. Definitely worth a watch. See more Lucy G. @Lucgle 5d Such a great documentary. Doesn’t put negative light on FDLS women and shows how empowered and strong they can be. This is a much watch See more Stan H @RT96418365 5d This a great documentary. Must see, imo. In addition to the central story, which is riveting, you have intrigue, undercover work, a documentarian with a mission to help those suffering from the same trauma she experienced. Can't praise it highly enough. See more Read all reviews
