The Audacity is the story of Silicon Valley as it is: ridiculous and terrifying. Since no one tries to stop them, the tech overlords will stop at nothing to control what you see, buy, vote for, believe. AI and data are their tools as they pursue humanity into a corner. But they, too, are human, to their frustration, and face the same problems of love, family, ambition, and greed as the rest of us. Only a billion times more than us. A manic tech CEO and his ethics-damaged therapist guide us through the Valley's madness and failings.

Seems like the typical megalomaniac tech guy and orbiting terrible people, but I'm willing to watch more to see if I'm wrong. Certainly some good actors in the mix.

I just hated it. Watching it made me angry, the beginning of the episode was erratic and anxiety-inducing and yet in a world which is, despite me working in, not feeling real. It's like if a person who hated drugs created a movie about how drugs are bad, while on drugs, but simultaneously whilst never in their life had been taken drugs, but this time without awesome music which could save it. I feel like nowadays there's a concept of creating tv series with main characters who have no redeeming qualities. Succession did it well. This is not how it's supposed to be done.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this one yet. While I was a huge fan of Succession, this one after two episodes is a little hard to get into but I’ll keep trying.
